JENNY BEAVAN
This work is an exploration into material and place observing processes of interdependance between water and geological change, seeking appropriate and simple construction methods, by using porcelain with china clay, merging imagination with memory in search of insights.
STUART THORN
Stuart’s paintings are an intepretation of the elements he observes - absorbed impressions and colours, shapes and the overall effects noted. In the paintings that evolve in the studio he is concerned only to capturing the essential character, rhythm and formal relationship of form and landscape and not acc urate detail.
