Sculpture
Baz Mehew is widely known for his stone carving in West Cornwall, having previously, with his partner Maureen Kennedy, run the Dick the Dog Gallery in Bread Street, Penzance. He runs courses at his home in Lamorna and is a respected teacher, renowned for his encouragement of new artists and sculptors. Baz is intrigued by owls and Cycladic heads, gods and goddesses and gives wonderful expression to the stones that he carves.
