Classic Fine Art
Walter Langley: one of the pre-emininent artists of the Newlyn School who took the skill of use of water colour to new heights. This sketch for a later painting titled ‘Chip off the Block’ has previously been on exhibition at the Penlee House Museum as part of a full Langley show. Chalk and charcoal make this a charming study and add to ones understanding of Langley’s working practice.
